We engaged Robinson Builders in September 2020 to perform a 55 square metre extension to our home, including removing and rebuilding the kitchen and adding on a media room, bedroom and ensuite.

Long before the renovation started, we had regular contact with Steve in terms of planning, cost and expectation.  As first time renovators we didn’t know what to expect or where to start but Steve guided us through the whole process and informed us each time a decision needed to be made and assisted us when we needed advice or recommendations.

At all times, Steve and his team of Paul, Josh and Ayden have been fantastic to deal with.  They always maintained a safe and tidy site, especially important given we have young children.  They were continually mindful and respectful of the fact that we were still living in the house and they kept the disruption to a minimum.

We asked Robinson Builders to manage the sub-contractors and we were impressed by every subbie chosen by Steve.  The plasterer, electrician, plumber, painter and earthworks contractor maintain the same sense of professionalism as Robinson Builders and I would have no hesitation in leaving any of them unattended at our house.  Steve was involved and oversaw all the work that the sub-contractors did and he managed the relationship between us and his subbies with ease.

The renovation is now finished and we could not be happier.  The project was delivered on budget and the quality, attention to detail and workmanship performed by Robinson Builders has exceeded our expectations.  Steve will always opt for quality as opposed to what might have been a quicker or easier solution.
